POLICY ON SUSTAINABILITY

In March 2018, the European Commission published an action plan on financing sustainable growth, which included three recommendations targeting the financial sector:

- Reorienting capital flows towards sustainable investments with a view to achieving sustainable and inclusive growth;
- Managing financial risks stemming from climate change, resource depletion, environmental degradation and social issues;
- Fostering transparency and long-termism in economic and financial activities.

Subsequently, Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 on sustainability‐related disclosures in the financial services sector was adopted. This regulation establishes harmonised rules on transparency with regard to the integration of sustainability risks and the consideration of adverse sustainability impacts in investment decisions, as well as the provision of sustainability-related information on financial products.

Noveo Finance, as part of this approach, is subject to Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 on sustainability‐related disclosures in the financial services sector. This policy is therefore established in accordance with Article 3 thereof.

Noveo Finance implements a financial product selection policy based, in particular, on the following criteria:

- An exclusion policy making it possible to exclude certain products whose underlying assets do not align with the company's values.
- A selection of investments, notably on the basis of the product governance framework that it implements within the firm and which enables it to select investments that meet its clients' sustainability preferences.
- The consideration of environmental (E), social (S) or governance (G) criteria of the products.

It should be noted that Noveo Finance's services as a hedging advisor are limited to the analysis of financial risks and the proposal of technical hedging instruments. They do not include, unless specifically agreed in writing, any assessment of the environmental, social or governance (ESG) criteria of the underlying projects or counterparties. The client acknowledges that it is solely responsible for the selection of its banking partners and the ESG assessment of its projects.

Remuneration Policy: Noveo Finance ensures that the remuneration structure, both fixed and variable, does not encourage excessive risk-taking with regard to sustainability. This remuneration structure does not take into account the distribution of specific products. Consequently, and like other investment contracts and vehicles, investment contracts and vehicles promoting ESG characteristics or qualifying as sustainable investments are recommended to the client provided they meet their objectives and needs.
